Job Title: Electrician
Salary: Tba Based on Experience
Place Of Work: Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny with nationwide travel required
Terms: Permanent/Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Install and Commission Solar PV Systems according to Safe Electric regulations and SEAI code of practice.
- Conduct Testing, Inspection and Certification of Electrical Installations.
- Work with Project team to ensure completion of projects on time and to highest quality standards.
- Provide technical assistance to customers regarding their solar systems.
- Conduct site assessments and resolve any technical issues as they arise.
- Carry out general electrical upgrades as required.
- Ensure compliance to Health and Safety regulations and standards.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Qualified Electrician ideally with 3+ years’ experience.
- Safe Electric Registration: Ideal Candidate should be registered with Safe Electric Ireland (via RECI or ECSSA). Candidates with the required qualifications and having completed the Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations module will also be considered.
- Solar experience preferred but not essential as full training on an SEAI-recognised solar PV training course will be provided.
Knowledge of existing electrical codes and standards. - Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
