LEDspan’s Cleanroom LED Lighting Luminaires were recently installed in a pharmaceutical facility constructed in Ireland. LEDspan were approached to provide a lighting design and supply suitable LED luminaires for the 1740m2 cleanroom.
The LEDspan LED Luminaires comprised of:
- Capella linear LED installed in ceiling grid system
- Vega Bespoke Bottom access
- Rigel ‘Lay-in grid’ bottom access
- Sirius Linear under platform Luminaire
LEDspan coordinated with the Asgard Cleanroom Solutions and design team using Dialux lighting design software to achieve lighting Lux levels and uniformity in line with the specification.
The primary LED luminaire, Capella, was pre-fitted in the ceiling grid noggins in the LEDspan workshop prior to delivery to site, and then installed along with the cleanroom ceiling system.
This method resulted in more ceiling space for services such as HVAC, no hazardous or laborious ceiling cut-outs, and a maintainable luminaire accessed from the walk on ceiling.
Rigel lay-in grid and surface Sirius linear lights were also used in cleanroom grid ceiling areas and under platforms.
